Kuramathi Cottage & Spa The Island
A tropical island in a blue sea with waving palms and exotic flowers. On Kuramathi Island there are three resort complex: Kuramathi Village, Kuramathi Cottage Club and Kuramathi Blue Lagoon. This is the only Maldivian resort/island having more than one hotel in the same land. The second resort located in the middle of Kuramathi island, the Kuramathi Cottages & Spa is a health-oriented holiday destination. On arrival at the reception in Kuramathi Village, you are taken by minibus to a heavily vegetated and secluded resort, scented by the aroma of frangipani, hibiscus and other flora and fauna indigenous to the Maldives archipelago.

    Visiting Local Island This is a great chance to visit a typical Maldive island to see what Maldivian life is like. It's a ten minute journey by boat to the neighboring island of Rasdhu, where you spend two-hours going around the island and if you are interested in shopping there are several souvenir shops where you can buy printed T-shirts and sarongs and lot of other souvenirs.

    Island Hopping On this full-day excursion you will have the opportunity to see three different islands and enjoy a barbecue lunch and great snorkelling. First stop will be a local island about one hour boat ride from Kuramathi. This island is home to a Maldivian fishing and farming community. You will have the chance to stroll the island and even meet some Maldivians. Next stop will be a resort island where you can relax, swim or go snorkelling you might see some new fish, which you haven't seen in Kuramathi. Last stop will be an uninhabited island where you will be served a barbecue lunch, which is cooked over an open fire. Afterwards, Afterwards you can do snorkelling or you may even explore this small island and be Robinson Crusoe on your own desert island.

    Snorkeling Safari Enjoy a couples of hours snorkeling over some of the best coral reefs in the area. Where you will get the chance to see some amazing fishes and colourful corals. On this trip you can visit three different reefs and you may compare how different these three reefs are. You will also be accompanied by a Marine Biologist who is very keen to answer your questions and explain you about the under water world and coral reef.

    Big Game Fishing If you've always wanted to try your luck at catching some really big fish, here's your chance. A specially adapted boat for big game fishing can take up to five people, the cost of the trip being divided among the people on board. There are three optg there are several souvenir shops where you can buy printed T-shirts and sarongs and lot of other souvenirs.

There are three options to choose from: the morning session between 5.00-10.00 am, the afternoon session between 2.00-6.00 pm, or if you're really smitten with the idea, you can go for the full day's fishing lasting between 5.00 am-5.00 pm. Be ready for an exciting time. You could catch anything from wahoo, marlin, sailfish, barracuda or tuna.
