Capital Group is a network of companies owned and managed by the principle company Capital Travel & Tours Private Limited, formed in the Maldives in 1991. The prime activity of the company was initially to operate as an in-bound travel agent in the Maldives . Today, Capital Travel has well over 500 partners around the world and is classed as one of the largest and reliable as well as efficient tour operators in the Maldives . The company has allotment contracts with all the leading resorts and hotels in the Maldives and operates its own fleet of luxury yachts and speed boats.
Mr. Yousuf Riffath, the founder of the company is engaged in the business round the clock. As Chairman and Managing Director of the Group, he carefully coordinates all the operations of the business with his years of personal experience. Capital Group is therefore one of the most reputable and respectable business groups in the Maldives .
Mr. Riffath developed his business skills and acumen at a very young age. His public relations and personal attention to the business in all its aspects has meant that the group business achieves its objects and has never reported any loss in any of its financial years. Furthermore, his energetic and tireless involvement in the business is the key to the success of the group.
The Group carefully diversified its business operation engaged in trading over the last 7 years. These include office stationeries and equipment, motorcycles, cars and other vehicles as well as the establishment of a vehicle service centre. The group also now has launched kitchen and catering equipment supply business, mainly servicing the resorts and hotels in the Maldives . Its exclusive ASTRABON Showroom was opened in 2002 and has become the largest supplier in the Maldives in less than one year. The Group now has exclusive agency of several international brands such as Pujadas, Bron coucke, Durobor, Tango, Felix, Giesser Messer, Nermarker and many more.
As a Tour Operator and Travel Agent, Capital Group has associates and partners around the world with whom the working relationship has been excellent for several years. The main clientele of are from Italy , Japan , Portugal , England , Russia , Greece and Germany . The company also operates charters annually during the high season. Capital Travel participates in all major travel fairs around the world and thrives to expand the network of alliances throughout the world.

1 - INBOUND TRAVEL AGENCY AND TOUR OPERATION From a modest start, we have now established excellent working relationships with almost all the resorts and hotels in the Maldives . 2 - TRADE Import and export businesses, selling and distributing office equipment and stationeries, motor cycles, cars and other vehicles.
  
3 - VEHICLE SERVICE CENTRE Established as an after sales backup service for our customers, Capital Auto services is now engaged in day-to-day repair and maintenance operations of motorcycles and cars. In addition, spare parts ordering and paint and body work can also be carried out at the garage.
4 - DIVING AND SAILING SAFARI HOLIDAYS Capital Safari and Dive Holidays was launched in 1998 to further enhance the Travel Services offered by the company. Maldives being a nation made up of small islands scattered across the ocean, sailing holidays has become very popular with the clients. 5 - HIGH SPEED TRANSPORT SERVICES Capital Transport Services began early this year with the purchase of a luxury high speed vessel, which is commonly used for inter-island and resort transfers.
